From Kiera Radvanski, FHS Director of Chicago Teen Edition
I am SO proud to announce that our wonderful students and the staff of this year's spring musical, Chicago: Teen Edition, were recognized by the prestigious Papermill Playhouse: Rising Star Awards for their incredible work on bringing this production to life.
Six of our students received a Rising Star Award Nomination for their portrayals as "The Merry Murderesses" in the Outstanding Performance by a Featured Ensemble Group category. They are: Tatiana Foray, Isatu Jalloh, Chloe Jackson, Gabrielle Granados-Enamorado, Teya Wright, Afia Asamoah,
Teya Wright, also received an Honorable Mention for her portrayal of
Velma Kelly in the Outstanding Performer in a Female-Identified Leading Role category.
Additionally, we received nomination recommendations, aka, "nods" in MANY categories! The
