Dear Franklin Park Families,
I hope you and your child(ren) are as excited to start the 2024-2025 school year as I am! It is with great excitement that I transition into my second year as Principal of Franklin Park School. I am humbled to be the educational leader of FPS, and look forward to our continued partnership.
The 2024-2025 school year marks my seventeenth year in education. As a lifelong learner, I have continued to expand my knowledge and love for teaching. I enjoy guiding and supporting educational staff, while connecting with students and their families. I am thankful to have the opportunity to bring all that we have learned over the past year into the new school year.
In addition to being an educator, my husband, David, and I are proud parents of three children. In September Joseph will be in ninth grade, Leah will be in sixth grade, and Kyle will be in Kindergarten. As a parent myself, I understand that a strong connection between school and home is vital for the success of our children.
It is my mission to foster a safe learning environment in which each student has a sense of pride and belonging, and access to equitable opportunities. Through open communication, inclusivity, guidance and support, your children will feel empowered to achieve their highest social, emotional, and intellectual potential as an FPS Bee.
The start of each new school year brings with it such excitement and enthusiasm, and we look forward to filling the school’s halls and classrooms with your children and their love of learning.
