HIB Grades as Issued by the Department of Education 2020-21

April 27, 2023: In compliance with the Anti-Bullying Bill of Rights law, the NJ Department of Education has issued the "NJ Department of Education School Self-Assessment for Determining Grades under the Anti-Bullying Bill of Rights - District and School Grade Report 2021-2022".   These grades were acknowledged by the Franklin Township Board of Education at their meeting on May 25, 2023.

Since the Official Release document is somewhat difficult to read, the information is also included below.  

Each school grade is based upon several areas which are:  HIB Programs, Approaches and Other Initiatives; Training on the Board-Approved HIB Policy; Other Staff Instruction and Training Programs; Curriculum and Instruction on HIB Related Information and Skills; HIB Personnel; School-Level HIB Incident Reporting Procedures; HIB Investigative Procedures; and HIB Reporting.

The district grade is an average of the total scores of all schools in the school district.  The maximum total score for each school is 78 points. 

Each of our schools earned the total scores listed below and the District average score was 78 points.
