Attention All Charter Family Registrants - Please be see below instructions to avoid processing delays. Transfer cards will be emailed directly to the Charter School as well as to our Transportation Department.

Families NEW to Franklin Township Public Schools:

Have All Important Registration Documents Ready To Upload Prior To Beginning The Online Process- These Will Have To Be Uploaded In The Document Section During The Online Registration Process:

  • Primary Proof of Residency or Residency Information Sheet (if applicable)- Only Required If Lease or Deed Is Not In Either Parent/ Legal Guardians Name

  • Parent Photo ID - Both parents/guardians - (TO CHANGE YOUR ADDRESS WITH NJ DMV ONLINE)

  • Birth Certificate for child begin registered- Legible Copy 

  • Immunizations - Must be current from the physician

  • Custody Documentation (if applicable) - Must be legal documents from court/attorney 

  • Charter School Acceptance Letter (Not The Offer Email) - Upload In Transcript Area Only

  • Transfer card(A-41)-Students transferring from another NJ School District MUST provide

  • Custody Documentation (if applicable) - Must be legal documents from court/attorney/DCF Resource Letter

Please note that we cannot enroll any students in a Charter School until the district has been officially supplied an acceptance letter/email with a start date within.

Step 1: Complete the registration link uploading all of the required documents listed above - Link to Register

Step 2: You will receive a confirmation email from the Student Enrollment Team upon completion


Franklin Township Public Schools Transfer to Charter


Please note that we cannot enroll any students in a Charter School until the district has been officially supplied an acceptance letter/email.

Step 1: Return all FTPS Property to the school your child attends and you receive the 10 digit receipt code as it is needed to complete Step 2

Step 2: Complete the transfer out link - Link to Transfer To Charter

Step 3: Email the acceptance letter that contains the start date, along with the below items listed below to registration@franklinboe.org

Step 4: You will receive a confirmation email from the Student Enrollment Team upon completion
