Information and Resources for Our Immigrant Students and Their Families
The New Jersey Department of Education (NJDOE) and Franklin Township Public Schools, in accordance with the US Supreme Court Case, Plyler v. Doe remains unwavering in its commitment to ensure that every student, regardless of immigration status, national origin, or religion, can attend public school safely. Franklin Township Public Schools also acknowledges the recent Executive Orders pertaining to immigration, as well as the district’s ongoing cooperative relationship with law enforcement.
As such we publish the following guidelines, frequently asked questions and resources to help our staff and all of our Franklin Warrior Families navigate through the weeks and months ahead.
The information and resources on this webpage are complete as of today, January 29, 2025. We hope to continually add new resources and will provide additional procedural guidance as we receive it from the NJDOE and other governmental agencies.
